Fuel Return Line/Vent
OK. Who has opened this up? What mechanism is in there? I don't want to open mine up. I assume a T.... maybe a ball/float mech?
To catch some of us up... there are 3 lines going into this. 2 top lines run to either side of the top of the gas tank. The bottom line runs to the engine bay and should be a return line from the fuel pump. Mine is not connected to the pump... nor is it capped off! It's just sitting open. How does the evap cannister fit into this picture? Thanks, Wil

Re: Fuel Return Line/Vent
I'm guessing the tube rises higher than the tank to keep fuel from running back into it. I'm also guessing the return line splits into two at this point so that the fuel will run into either side of the tank in case the burb is tilted on either side.
Also guessing that a evap cannister would plumb off the carb? Wil

Re: Fuel Return Line/Vent
The canister should be attatched to the p/s fender.
