Outstanding Sierre Grande!!!!
Before anyone asks, NO, I did not buy this one to part . It belongs to an older gentleman friend of mine that restored it. It's an 80K original mile truck. It's got tilt, Power discs brakes, tow hitch, dual batteries. I believe it is a 350/350. He is looking to sale it if anyone is interested. It is VERY clean. If anyone wants anymore pictures or his phone number let me know.

I've seen it myself when I was there and can vouch that it's absolutely beautiful, especially considering what he was asking. I seriously wished I could have bought it. Here are more pics:

I just realized that the pics I posted are a different truck. The one I posted was on Kirtland AFB back in mid August.

Re: Outstanding Sierre Grande!!!!
Beautiful truck. Is it a true SierraGrande or did he restore it as one?I see it had the tough to duplicate SuperCustom seat cover instead of the correct herringbone and he gave other personal touches, like painting the gauge bezel and tilt column dark olive.
Brad, that dark olive truck is a steal @ $4,500 w/402?????Looks like a push truck. At least they are the original guards with smooth rubber and less meat above the bumper.Shame about the mirrors, though. One of my pieves. Board member jc has a sweet unrestored original medium olive`70 GMC for sale.It has the wide-mounted bumper gaurds, too(just the two).

Re: Outstanding Sierre Grande!!!!
Those are nice trucks!
No A/C????????????? Sure! I have a friend with an original 72 Cheyenne super HE bought new without A/C so surely a GMC is no diff. I have to squeeze mine in here JC so you can see I am not kidding when I say I have the cousin to yours. Only thing is mine came from SD instead of Wisconsin. OT |

Re: Outstanding Sierre Grande!!!!
you could get a sierra grande, or a cheyenne super without A/C, with an inline 250 and manual 3 speed, manual brakes and steering... ect ect. These are not much more than trim packages.
I even had a 70 CST, it had 350/TH350, A/C, chrome rear bumper, chrome hubcaps, power steering and brakes.... standard guages... dummy lights. |

Re: Outstanding Sierre Grande!!!!
I doubt this truck is a Sierra Grande, but restored as one.I`d like to see the SPID(that`s right,Andy ).
A/C was an option on all trucks.

Re: Outstanding Sierre Grande!!!!
Wasn't there a stepside posted in the for sale section that had a steel floor? If i remember right I was shocked that the floor was steel, I thought all stepsides were wood floors too. (BTW Andy, I just realized I need to send you the money for the glovebox light, I'll get that out tomorrow )
