1962 Longbed PU - Sioux City, IA - $1000

Just did some browsing on another site and found the link to this:

http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=204425

Here are the details from the ad above:

Selling: Car
Location: Sioux City IA
Price: 1250.00 - now dropped to $1000
Note: I am selling this for a friend of mine who does have a clean title.

She is a 1962 Chevy long box thats not a rust bucket. She is not perfect but as you can see she is a great starting point for someone who likes these old Chevy trucks.

The truck has not been run in several years, I was told the gas tank needs flushed at a minimum but that it will run. I never tried so take that for what it is worth. The brakes need work as well.

Body wise it is not a rust bucket but it does need body work. It has smaller dents and dings that will need attention and she waves at you a bit down the box sides. I was impressed with how solid the front clip infrastructure is. The hood is in good shape, the fenders are solid but need some bump work. The doors are solid, the drivers door will need some work, it is a bit dinged up but is repairable. Cab corners look good. Drivers side box side is rough and will need some work. It looks like a patch panel was installed on the lower rear section. Someone threw some mud on the lower rear box ends, poor job. It looks like they were filling dents not rust.

I have 30 plus pictures loaded up on my web site located at:

I don't know this person or the truck - just passing on the information
