I guess the one I saw at a swap meet Saturday for $300 wouldn't have been too bad. He said he would guarantee it to work.... LockDoc

I used to play in the world of Boss 302/351/429 Mustangs. Just 3 years ago you could buy a restored B2 for $50,000, now you can't touch a basket case B2 for that price. Embrace the price escalation, we all will profit from it.

Re: WOW!!! AM-FM 1972 Chevy Truck Radio for $1150
This one is a better deal than the NOS one that sold on ebay for $1600 a year or two ago. I believe the NOS one was sold "as-is". This one posted has everything needed including a NOS speaker and guaranteed to work or money back. Still, I won't pay that much for a mono radio, but someone with a classic show truck would.

I've sold a few 69 camaro junkyard AM/FM radios for $350+ and they sell rebuilt for $1000+ too.

Re: WOW!!! AM-FM 1972 Chevy Truck Radio for $1150
Thats just a buy it now price, he has the make offer option available, just another way to market his items. Thats the same guy that repaired my AM/FM and I believe he did teeitups also. He used to get between $400-$600 on his auctions in the past. It looks like he is just marketing them differently now. I will say he does awesome work and is a real nice guy to deal with.

My buddy paid 900.00 for a rebuilt one for his '57 Thunderbird. I could not believe it!
