Ok another (probably) obvious question...
I was cleaning out Ole Blue the other day and started cleaning out the glovebox, I moved something and I forget what it is but the option sheet on the glovebox door popped up, didnt tear or anything but its covered with overspray from when Im guessing the PO painted the glovebox door.
Is there anyway in Creation to remove the paint safely without destroying the sheet or do I have to guess? I really wanna know what options originally came on Blue in 1971, paint color, interior etc from what I can tell so far it has quite a few options on it, or at least HAD.

Re: Ok another (probably) obvious question...
I commend you for at least wanting to try to save the sticker. You would have to have a VERY gentle touch and a LOT of patience. I would recommend that you try to use a cloth rag and some enamel reducer. Don't SOAK the rag, just wet enough to barely feel it. Just sort of "dust" it with the rag, don't RUB hard. You MIGHT be able to remove enough to at least see the writing. Worth a try. You probably won't save it, but you might get some info. Hope it works out. Take care, Mike

does anyone know how to protect them? Is there some type of clear coating you can put over them?

Re: Ok another (probably) obvious question...
Well I went out today and tried the enamel reducer (basically used the wifes finger nail polish remover same thing since finger nail polish is an enamel of sorts) and some cotton balls....................after a dit of dusting and light rubbing I was able to remove enough of the over spray to reveal
Wheel Base Model Number engine Radio guage package paint molding wheel option bumper Custom conf (dunno what that is) and interior trim a grand total of 10 options, I will be starting another thread to help decode the non-self explanitory options. I swear working on these ole trucks is like an archeology expidition.................never know what your gonna find. Thanks for all the help. Y'all .
