Cool Re: long bed fleetside/long box stepside bed?

The frames and things are the same.

I think there was one mount or support or something that is different... hmn.

Someone will chime in.

Re: long bed fleetside/long box stepside bed?

why do you want to change the boxes???? I just bought a 67 k15 and i have been having a hell of a time trying to find any information on it. It seem as if there arnt to many long box stepsides out there and I have only in all my internet searching found one other one and it was a 2wd. Do you have the stepside box? I think it might be a big task just trying to find it. If you all got any info on the long stepside boxes I would greatly like to hear any thing.

langenmaier Just remember our frames and beds are different from yours. information that applies to us most likely wont apply to you and visa versa.

Long bed step sides can be really cool if done up right. When i had my long bed '71 i looked for a step side bed for it. I only found one and the guy wouldn't sell it (i owned the thing for 11 years).
