Z'ed frame and lower radiator hose

What are you guys doing about a lower radiator hose on your trucks that have a z'ed frame. I've tried using a flex hose and that pinches at the water pump neck, the stock hose almost pinches when it goes over the frame, and I've tried about ten other hose and none will work. Guess I'm going to have to make something out of a few hoses. Anybody got any part numbers or ideas.

i was also going to suggest a solid metal "hose" like some of the pre-73 trucks used, with short sections of rubber at either end.
