oil pressure / water temp

Can anyone show me where they are running their aftermarket gauges (water temp, oil pressure) to their block?

Currently, Im using the stock water temp under the driverside exhaust manifold. and the oil pressure (electronic) in the stock location. Im just curious if I can move my water temp elsewhere, away from high temp manifold.

sal if you have a 350 then the only other place that i can think of would be from the intake manifold in the front part of the intake. i actually have my electric fan sensor in that location. if you can't get that to work then i would suggest making a sleeve for the wire out of header wrap or something like that

That's where mine is hooked up. Works fine, but at first the gauge jumped around a bit. Like there were air pockets in the circulation or something. I heard the best place to hook it up is on the side of the head where you have it. My heads didn't have a place for it there, that's why I went to the intake.
