Re: coming atractions la chata well be back !!!!
hey was your truck near salt water or sunk in water or anything? i ask cause of all the surface rust. i like that rusty look, keep it looking like that and find a way to keep it from rusting more and call it a rust rod!!! my friend is building a convertible out of my old 62 and its theme is gonna be rust, kinda weird but the truck fits the theme. we peed on the valve covers and stuff to make it rust . he needs the bolts to mount the cab back on the frame and then were gonna put the cab back on. we gotta bolt it up to to weld the rockers in. anyways cant wait to see it painted!!!

Re: coming atractions la chata well be back !!!!
thanks john, good name by the way the problem with the truck its that used to belong to a mechanic school teacher and they sand the truck 10 years ago and never primer it or painted it so they let it rust for 10 years.
I was thinking on letting it keep rusted and make it a nice rat rod but change my mind and went on a different direction i will post new pictures as soon as i have it thanks broh Fer

Seeing the condition La Chata was in made me feel a little bit better about mine. Then i remembered the bottom half of my cab is gone. Can't wait to see your progress.
