Decided to lift the truck higher
Well, you may remember me having lift kit issues with the rear being higher.Well,I found a '72 Short K10 with a 6" lift and I photochopped the color I want to paint the truck on it,and it looked good sitting that high..So instead of lowering the back,I'm gonna raise the front. Now I just need to get some reasonably priced 6" lift front springs...
Here is the pic I photochopped (Or what ever you want to call it) And there is even mud on it so it looks like it's just been offroad! I think this is a wise move since I could use the extra clearance for the 35s... Then I'll use the 4" lift springs and some rear blocks to raise the K/5...it should look fine with 33s and a 4" lift,it doesn't look tall with the 2" lift..Do you think I'll need to lengthen the front driveshaft with a 6" lift? Re: Decided to lift the truck higher
That is the perfect lift, stance for these trucks IMO. Good move. What is the color called, besides the obvious blue?

It's pretty close to GM laser blue but I dont know what color it exactly is.I will probably choose a little lighter of a color...

Re: Decided to lift the truck higher
Is that a different color?
How do you tint that? 6" is tough! That`s what I have for my shortbed. The front driveshaft could use about an inch or so.

Re: Decided to lift the truck higher
Hey,that's the truck..before I changed the color.Tim,I have a program where I can alter the color to a point,if you got a truck that you want me to change the color on,let me know and I'll see if I can do it..if not leave it to the photoshop people..it needs to be either a full one color,or a two,or even 3 tone,etc..just not green fender, blue hood, orange bed, etc.

Re: Decided to lift the truck higher
very addictive... i dont even have my 93 together yet, and i already want to ditch the efi, the 80E, all the interior, go bigger, and ditch the $1300 worth of brand new 37" goodyear rubber.

Re: Decided to lift the truck higher
Looks good Dustin. I like that blue, I think that is going to be the color of the stripes on my Z/28 with a black body.
