Too much fun!
So, while my '69 is down with a blow'd up X-fer, I've been driving the g/f's '68 C10 LWB. Man I forgot what fun that truck is to drive!
Both are no power anything, but the little 2WD is such a blast. 350, 3-speed saginaw with Hurst floor shift conversion (needs tweaked), and I think 308 rearend. Thing pulls off the line like gang busters! The other night, I was runnin' about 40 in 2nd, and put the hammer down - broke the rear tires loose!!! Woo-Hoo!!! Had to put in the clutch and real her back in. I realize the tires are dry rotting, and are very hard, and don't bite well right now, but I have really missed driving a "little" truck again! Later y'all!

Re: Too much fun!
I have alot of fun with my 69...that same sat up...but no Hurst shifter! I took mine out cause it needs rebuilt bad. I would rather my trucks have no options. Nothing to rob power from the motor.

Re: Too much fun!
yea the auto's take all the fun out of them. i would much rather drive my unrestored 69 c10 with the 4 speed and glass pacs than my newly built short k20 with auto and near silent pipes
