'66 c20 parts to c10

I recently acquired a c20 3/4 ton truck with a 327 and 4 speed transmission. I was wondering if swapping the v8 into my I6 3 speed on the column will be a problem? The V8 is original and has never had any work done on it, should I have it rebuilt first? Same with the transmission? Does anyone know the hp of the 327 back then? or where to see specs on it? Thanks in advance.
