66 extended cab
I just picked up a extra 64 cab with the intensions of a cab swap, but my friends and I have been throwing the concept of extending the cab about 6 inches or more and then extend the doors the same. Has anyone done this before or at least done any photoshops of that concept.

Re: 66 extended cab
6 inches would be about the extended width from the door to the back. Why not graft the very back, split the roof, then put a strip in the roof extension? Lengthening the doors in my opinion would look way out of place. the cab extension if done right could look factory. If you want a longer extended cab 12 or more inches, the quarter glass and surrounding metal work great from a 89-98 chevy extended cab truck, and the windows open up. Just some thoughts and ideas.

Re: 66 extended cab
6 inch's is hardly worth the effert If your going to extend it do it to the point your gaining some space because the amount of work is about the same
