Re: My New Ride
Definetly not a rat rod, looks really well built and has some descent time put into it. Lets get some more specs on that baby....most probably will call it a rat rod cause it doesnt look like some Foose build high-boy or Boyd "roadster". Definetly a hotrod in my book.

Re: My New Ride
thanks it has a 302 punched 30 over 4 speed trans it just looks rat style it is very safe and built well that was the main concern on the build there are a few things left to do as far as im gona make a removable top for it and put a set of bomber seats in it i have a 440 engine maybe thinking of putting it in but as of right now im gona stay with the 302 as it has plenty of power this thing will scare the hell out of you i took it to our christmas parade thanksgiving nite there were about 30 old cars a 67 camaro pulled up beside me at the red light looked like a 50 k car he pointed at me so when the light turned green we got on it and from red light to red light i got him by about 4 cars all the old cruisers were laughing this guy just could not believe i out ran him this is my first time with this type of rod and i love it

Re: My New Ride
Nice.....dig'n the 1/4 elliptic in the rear !!
Originally had that on my Zuk in the rear. I guess it needs to be completely RUSTY to be ratty.

Re: My New Ride
hehehe, hate to be an ass but the paint looks sweet, and no even if rusty doesnt mean its ratty....Really dig'n the setup you have go'n on. Dont try and wear some work boots though with those pedals! Fawk mayn if you drop a 440 on that lil bugger hope you add some harnesses! After the motor build on my 65' and some minor suspension work Im going to start on a roadster project. Stoked for you mayn, have fun with her.

Bad ass ride you have there. One question though, does that shifter knob come with batteries? J/K

Re: My New Ride
Definitely an old skool Rod, not really a "Rat Rod" since it doesn't look like the Beverly Hillbillies just drove up in it.
I love the 20mm shell for the shifter handle ! Nice car !

Re: My New Ride
i thought i had seen this truck before on the HAMB. looks good. im just not a big fan of tall shifters on manuals seems like more work than necessary for speed shifts. tall shifters are cool on automatics. over all its a nice hotrod.
