Couple pics
For those of you who don't normaly check out my Sat pics. Which are here if you would like to see em this week.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=268063 I also posted some from the Turkey Run here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=1#post2465645 But for those of you who have no interest in any of that I just wanted to at least share these with you. I saw this same Blazer later and it looked like this. The owner said a woman just ran right in to him! To make matters worse she had no insurance. It ruined his grill and shell as well as the front bumper and the brace that goes in front of the core support that the grill screws to. He was pretty upset about things and said he was going to park it the rest of the weekend. I told him I'd have to get it back out to the show the next day no matter what it looked like. We did see him the next day back at the truck working on the truck getting it back in shape. I came up and started talking to the owner (I thought) and he's looking at me like I'm crazy! Just then the real owner comes up and starts chatting. Apparently these guys were twins! (If they weren't I really REALLY don't want to know why two grown men would look so much alike!) They even went Topless! I hated to see it get banged up but it was awesome to see em get it back on the road. The blazer was super sweet and was bagged and had a late model Corvette engine in it. |

Re: Couple pics
Those are some great pics see ten! I really feel sorry for the guy that got hit. That Blazer is beautiful, but leave it to someone that doesn't have insurance to ruin things. Was he going to be able to get anything out of her?

Beautiful Blazer!
I hope he reported her as an uninsured motorist so she'll at least loose her license.

Re: Couple pics
That sucks, every state is different so she will probably never get in trouble
On a lighter note, that's a good looking rig, very straight and very clean

Re: Couple pics
those are Ohio plates on the pic above, but he has KY plates on it when you saw it. I believe he said somebody in Louisville was buying it so it probably is it. Wow, and to have some moron hit you right after you buy it.
Now that I look a little closer, it does have Jefferson County, KY tags which is Louisville, so I'm sure it is the same blazer. Just wished I could have seen it come through here.

Re: Couple pics
Doesn't the trailered pic have the same California plate on the rear as what is on the front in the pic I took? Either way, It appears to be the same Blazer and was super bad!

Re: Couple pics
Yep, thats my old truck. That sucks. The kids dad who bought it says the owner has no luck, he said he can't drive a hotrod 5 miles without some incident. This is the same guy who bent four valves, broke the timing gears and chain on the test drive. I happened to have a wrecked 96 Impala SS behind my shop and thrashed 16 hours to pull both motors and get the blazer running so he could take it to a car show. I'm going to call him tonight and get the lowdown on what happened in Daytona.

That first pic was all I needed to convince me to paint my top white.

Re: Couple pics
He has plenty of luck........It's just all bad. He was also sportin a cast as a result of a 4 wheeler accident. I guess no matter how bad things get there's always someone in worse shape than we are.

Re: Couple pics
interesting, it looks like that might be an optical illusion though. Its not that way on the trailer or on the second picture.
