Any one know what size the leaf spring bolts are.

The U-bolts or the 3/8 inch spring pack bolts that go through the springs.

they are 1/2 by 4 1/2, on my 82 c10 2wd

You also need to use grade 8 bolts with locking nuts.

Get grade 8 Fine Thread (SAE) bolts with self locking nuts---preferrably not the NYLOCK design.
