Anyone Using a Pop Up Bed Cover?
I'd like to cover my 77 truck bed for hauling some large radio control aircraft. I don't like the camper shell look (been ther done that) and I am interested in a fiberglass popup bed cover. Any pics? What do these generally cost? Thanks. LBJ

Is this the type you're talking about?
http://www.4are.com/product/topup/ They don't currently have a listing for our vintage of trucks but I would think you could special order one from them.

I would like a Flush Mount cover for mine, a lot cleaner looking , those other covers sit toooo high, remind me of a coffin top

BlueBurban,
That's along the lines I was thinking, but hinged behind the cab and raises at the tailgate only. |

Re: Anyone Using a Pop Up Bed Cover?
That style has an electric over hydraulic actuator system for it. You can stop it at any level and allows complete access to the whole bed without interference from the tonneau cover at all like the others that are hinged at the front leading edge.
But if thats the style you'd like then go for a gaylords brand. Simple to install without drilling any holes. I believe they now offer linear acctuators for them as well so you can open it with a remote. It's been awhile since I looked into thier website myself.
