Underway on it's own power.
Finally got most of the kinks worked out in my 200-4r conversion and the truck left the yard under it's own power. Just gotta brace the tv cable/accelarator cable bracket I rigged and I believe I'm good to go.

I understand that when using a 200r4, the drive shaft doesn't have to be cut. Is this true?

Yeah, I'm using the original two piece driveshaft and the original crossmember. I even reused the dipstick from the TH350. I bought the torque convertor lockup kit from bowtie overdrive and shift linkage from Lokar. I fabbed up a bracket for the tv cable on the carb and can't wait to get the bed cleaned out and try it on the hiway. Woodridge, once I get the kinks worked out of my home made brackets I'll attempt a writeup for FAQ.
