454 for sale or trade
ok i finlley went and got it. i went and pick it up sat. and found out the whole story about it. it is a 454 that was a advance auto store. replacement engine. the po went to advance and bought it and took it to a machine shop and had the studs put in it to hold the heads on and bore it 60 over bought a big cam kit that came with springs and timeing set and had it put in it. and he broke it in the wrong way. drove it on the trailer and off the trailer and it was setting ther idleing and it chew up a couple of cam lobes and the shaveing went to the crank. and scared it a little . he pulled the crank back out and the cam and started to fix when i bought it so it needs a crank kit and a cam and lifters and a homic. blancer. i will trade it for a small block that is bulit or sell it for 1200.00

Any chance you got any/all the brackets and pulleys for it? If you do and aren't going to be using them, let me know. Where abouts in NC are you located?

Does the crank, cam, and main bearing caps go with it? What sort of built small block ya lookin for?

the crank goes but is only good for a core. it mightcould turn down. the cam was bad and it got trash. the main caps are there and the rod caps i got. no haomic. blancer. it is all new motor. i got a orig intake, oil pan, valve covers, and all the push rods. i would like a good bulit 350,400 sb. it can be a few years old i don't want a wore out one and not a new one. just a good bulit sb from mild to wild more wilder the better
