Original Clutch Pedals

Are all the pedals the same? The pedal I bought doesn't seem to mate very well with the grooves in the lower part of the assembly.I bought as a unit from the same place ,I did have to drill out the lower to allow for the 7/16 bolt that was in the pedal. but they don't lock together as you would think

55-59 are the same. maybe you got a 47-54 pedal. post a picture

I checked the splines again, They do mesh, but the pedal goes straight instead of @ 90 deg.?

turn the pedal over in the last picture, it should be almost 90* to the lever with the pad part at the top of the picture. The first one I tried to get back together I thought the same thing. But they are the right parts.

I checked the alignment again and the only position they mesh is straight off the end ????? Any feedback is welcome.
