Question What Blazers/Jimmys came with this ?

I recently bought a tailgate for my GMC and I want to retro-fit one of these aluminum solid centers over the embossed CHEVROLET in the centerof my truck tail gate. Does anyone know what years this solid piece was offered ?!?

I assumed he was reffering to the fact that it doesn't have any holes for mounting an emblem?

If so, I think if you buy one new (not sure of OEM vs. aftermarket) they don't have any holes as the GMC emblems are mounted on the driver side and the Chev emblems are mounted on the passenger side. I think...
Also, the emblems are pretty different in size so I assume the hole spacing is different.

I know LMC sells them for $199.00 and I think brothers does too, just sure of the price.

Here is the LMC link.

Re: What Blazers/Jimmys came with this ?

I remember seeing them before for like $400. $200 doesn't seem too bad.
But that might have been for a truck version?

Question Re: What Blazers/Jimmys came with this ?

I know I will have to drill holes in my tailgate and retro-fit the mounting brackets. I was wondering what all years came with this smooth piece without any emblems mounted on it ??????? There are a lot of Blazers and Suburbans being parted out in my area because of the new DEQ laws so I figured I could pick one up a lot cheaper than $200.00 if I knew which ones to look for !!!

The truck version with the lettering molded into it is the expensive one.

I don't think any of them came stock on a truck/Blazer/Suburban with out the emblem.
