I just called the seller, he says he is a member of this forum and will try to PM y'all a little later, he has already seen this thread.

He isn't located so far away from the place where I work on my Chalet on weekends, if necessary maybe I could check it out in person.

I wonder if it's the same as the "Half Cab" (Minnesota Truck Products Cokato, MN) mentioned in this article - pic below - out of the Petersen's Trucking Trends 1977. If the engineering was feasible of making my camper actually easily removable and self-supporting, I could use a 'quarter cab' for mine.........

I hope he chimes in. I would like to see a good side shot to get an idea of how it looks proportionaly.
I have one of the cab kits for the '76 and up K5's but in the pictures that were oringinaly on the site that was selling them it didn't look right. Didn't stop me from buying one locally when it came up for sale though. I always though it would look better with a 3" or 4" spcer between the cab and the cab "cover". Plus give you a little more room for adjusting the seat.

From what I understand from people that have tried to remove the Chalet camper, more than one has been ruined in the process. For all thats worth you would probebly better served finding a cheap driver; one to have fun with!
On a side note, I believe Zoomad had posted a PDF of plans for making cabs on Blazers. It was prepared for a government entity that was considering taking surplus military Blazers and converting them for other uses. It was prepared by an engineering firm of some sort so the plans looked well thought out.

I'm the owner I am not trying to sell on this website. Top is a minnesota top and has the maker and some type of serial # or part #. I do not have any other pics of the top. The floors were too different and I did not want to build a new support panel.

I am assuming you are saying the support panel was made for a '73-75 (when did the foors change?) truck. In your sig it says '89. IS that what you mean?

Yes the support panel is made for a 73-75. Floors changed in 1978. Yes since my truck is an 89 with a 74 windshiled grafted on the floor will not work with the support panel.

73-77's the bed floor comes all the way from the gate to the back of the front seats. Meaning, no footwell for the rear seat passengers.

I think having one of those would be cool for my 75, but I like being able to carry ore than one other person too.
