Big Window or Small Window?
So which do you like, the trucks with the big back windows or the ones with the small back windows?

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
Small....I want my old truck to look like an old truck, not a modern one.

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
I like them both....I really like the small window on my truck.
On a short-bed fleet side, I think the big window looks awesome. At least with a small window, people can't see you from the back...not that I am hiding from anyone or something....

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
Small window, definately.
the big window takes away too much style of those old cabs. |

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
Big window.... Small back glass looks like a truck from the 50s when the cabs were half the size of ours.. Larger cabs= larger windows to me.. Makes everything proportional...

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
I like the small window better because I have knocked out too many of the big back windows loading stuff! the smaller the window the harder it is to hit!

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
I like them both but on differnt ways a truck is built. The smaller back window looks more hot rodish and the big back window is more conservitive..

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
I like the small window myself. Like Bill said, I like my old trucks to look old. I also like the privacy of the small window. That's probably one of the only things I don't like about my 1960 F100, the small back window is still too big.

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
I agree on the big window short-fleets, they look awesome.
But as others have said, the small window is more roddish, so I like it better on steppers. |

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
I like both but lean more towards the small window. Kinda fits the old style more. I know the gasket and window's a lot cheaper:.lol:

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
I gotta go with small window myself, just gives the truck a more classic look IMO.

Re: Big Window or Small Window?
I also like and have had both. I'm not buying the privacy argument though, tint your window in you want privacy I have a big back window on my short fleet, and had a small on my short step.
