Sorry everyone, I'm just venting.

Last set I bought were ceramic coated for my 68 Camaro and I loved them. So I called Hedman and asked for tech support to get their insight on a set of header for the BB in my 67 4x4. He said (Randy was his name) that if they don't list it by application, they can't help me at all. I told him I just needed to get some measurements of a paticular header so I can see if they will fit. He said the only way he could help me would be if I brought him a 67 4x4 truck with a big block and left it with them so they could research it to see what may or may not work. That was the end of our conversation!

So now I'm still in the market for a set of headers but something other than Hedman. So Could any of you BB guys with headers (2wd or 4wd) please post pics of your headers installed? If you have a BB in a 4x4, just a brand name will do. Otherwise, I'm lookinf for pics of the headers at the head to see what kind of frame clearance you have.

but they have only been on a month.

I'd check with Hooker...you'll pay a bit more but they will fit.

Amen on the Hookers fitting the best, no offense, but the dynomax were a terrible fit!!!!!!!

This is good advice. Use the Hookers, they fit REAL GOOD on my 71 4x4-454. Much better than hedman, dynomax and other cheaper brands. Well worth the extra money. Been there-done that.

You can look up the headers on Hollys web site. Thay are the best fit.

Thanks for your help guys. I put in a message with tech support at Hooker to try and find out why they don't offer a set of headers for the 67-68 4wd with big block in their Competition series but they do in their Super Competition series headers. I would think that with heavier gauge tubing and thicker flanges, the Super Comps would be less likely to fit and the regular Comps would be more likely. I'll wait and see what they say.........

Bill72BB, do you have pics with the Dynomax installed? How much do the 2wd and 4wd frames differ?

Not to start an argument, but my DynoMax "shorties" fit like a glove. Could not have ask for a better fit ... but they are on a small block. Don't know anything about the DynoMax for the big blocks.
