Rearching Springs
The rear passenger side spring on the gmc is sagging. If i were to have it rearched would it affect the ride quality any.Or would it be better to just replace both rear springs with new ones.
Thanks Cory

Re: Rearching Springs
I'm not familiar with the term "rearched". Must be a leaf spring thing...

Re: Rearching Springs
it wouldnt be wise to just do 1 spring weather rearching or replacing you need to do both replacement is a better choice and i doubt theres a real price advantage to rearching them

Re: Rearching Springs
I had my rear springs on my Blazer re-arched. It leveled the truck out real nice and the ride is the same as ever. That was 7 years ago.

Re: Rearching Springs
i would just get 2 new springs, or at least two used ones from a yard, off of a truck that you know is not sagging. there must be some reason for it to sag in the first place, if you rearch it it may last a while but in 10 years it mat sag right back. its a gamble. there may be a defect in the spring somewhere. good luck
