Wheel covers for the 16.5 X 8.25 steel

I got these wheels with the clips on them for the hub caps. There were Nos and the member I got them from was great, had them for several years. I am going to media blast and clean the wheels and powder coat them white. I need to know what kind of caps they accept so I can start getting them. Does anybody have these special size wheels and do you have a pic of them used? Please help! Thanks....

Re: Wheel covers for the 16.5 X 8.25 steel

I have the 16" wheels with the 1/2 ton dog-dish hub caps. I'm not sure if they are the same as the 16.5" rims thought. Are they 1/2 or 3/4 ton?

I am not sure. They are 6-lug and have the clips. Do your hub caps fit on with clips? Thanks

There are "knubs" on the wheels that hold the caps on.

My truck has Hickey side tanks (one on each side). I don't use them though. It costs too much to fill them up and they gauge doesn't work with them.
