Question Seat Question

The PO of my truck was much shorter than me ~7" or so. He put in a new seat that sits very high, so that I have to kind of duck to see stop lights if I'm in the 1 or 2 position. It is well padded and fairly comfortable, but just way to high.

I've been looking at original seats on CL, but have a question on the originals. Do they bolt straight to the floor, or is there an intermediate assembly so that the seat can slide forward? I certainly don't need the seat any closer, but I don't want to buy only seat to find out it doesn't bolt up.

Thanks!
David
