rear blazer seat pictures needed.

Anyone have pictures of their rear seat mounting brackets? I'm trying to determine if the rear seat that was in my blazer was stock. I'm going to sell it and install a removable seat from a suburban.
I know I could just post a picture of it, but I won't be able to take any until this weekend.

Re: rear blazer seat pictures needed.

The seats had either two or for brackets in the back. If they only had two, the belts were bolted directly to the floor in the middle two mounting points.

I haven't figured that out yet. My guess is may 72 has the only outside brackets and the other years have all 4?

Mine Is A 72 And Only Has Two Outer Brackets

Hey Hot Rod If You Are Installing A Rear Seat Out Of A 90's Suburban
I Put One In A 1993 Burb That Didnt Have One From Factory
And It Was Surprisingly Easy
4 Chunks Of 2"x3" Square Tube Stock Notched Out Section On The 2" Side
Drilled Hole On The Three Inch Side Slid In A 1/2 Or 3/4 Inch Bolt Welded All Up
Located Floor Mounts From Seat Marked Cut And Welded In New Pockets On The Bottom Side (tacked On Top To Just Hold Until I Could Get Them Good From The Bottom )and Used Factory Chrome Trim Plates And You Couldnt Even Tell It Never Had A Seat

Re: rear blazer seat pictures needed.

I cut my brackets out of a suburban. Should be an easy install. just need to measure a million times before I hack up my floor.

Mine is a 72 and it has all four brackets, but they are spaced different than the one pictured.

Re: rear blazer seat pictures needed.

Here is what I have. Not good pictures, but it was the best I could do with the space I had.

That's the correct seat for the 69-72 blazers.

Looks like the arm rest were recovered. I bet if you pull off the covers, you'll find signs of the hole from the ashtrays.

Re: rear blazer seat pictures needed.

$40-50? It isn't the original cover and the color isn't the most desirable. Also, someone had modified the front brackets with tabs to hold the seat down rather than using the original clamps.

Re: rear blazer seat pictures needed.

That's what I was thinking, they were covered up when the new covering was done.

I have a set of 'stock' front legs if you wanna try to sell it that way.
(as stock)

Thanks anyway VT. I appreciate the offer, but I just want it gone. I listed it for $40 on craiglist and had 6 replies by the time i got home from work. Only one was a scam It should be gone tomorrow, if I'm lucky.

Re: rear blazer seat pictures needed.

It sold in less than 24 hours. Had 7 calls. Must be rare in these parts.

Re: rear blazer seat pictures needed.

What are you going to do about a back seat?
