Another front end question
I have the entire front end out of a 73 C10 that will eventually go on my 70. Since I know I will want to rebuild it all, I was wondering could I just take all the pieces for the 73 and reassemble them onto the 70's saddle?
Not sure which way I am going to go, but I though since I had to rip it all apart and rebuild it before I actually use it that this might make sense, and just reassemble it onto the 70's saddle. Is there any setback from doing it this way if it is possible?

Re: Another front end question
Those parts all will fit onto the 70 crossmember. Many have swapped like this the same as you and some choose just to use the entire crossmember from the donor vehicle. Use everything you can from the 73 like draglink, tie rods and such and just leave the crossmember in place.

Re: Another front end question
I may still just do the whole swap as I have everything, but since I modified the current saddle to run late model engine mounts, I thought just swapping out the pieces might be easier since I have to rip it all apart anyways..
