LMC recommendation?
Has anyone tried these LMC parts? Are they any good?
38-5635 WINDOW CHANNEL KIT-CUSTOM 79.95 38-6960 ROOF RAIL SEAL SET 1 REQ 39.95 Plus about $24 for shipping. The first is for the window channels and drip seals, the second is the seal on the single-wall top around the window. |

Re: LMC recommendation?
I have the seals that go around the door window on a single wall and it is just fine. I've said it before - I seriously doubt there are many manufactures of the seals for Blazers, if there is even more than one. There just isn't enough market to support multiple manufactures. If you consider there were only 80,000 first gen Blazers (not including Jimmys) manufactured and how many of those have met their demise in one way or another and what is left isn't enough to justify the cost of manufacturing them. Heck, you can't even get a soft top anymore.

Re: LMC recommendation?
I Just Installed Earlier This Month Both Exact Sets From Lmc
Looks Great No Probs With Fitting The Only Issue I Had Was Some Very Minor Trimming On The Window Seals And That Could Be Due To Installer Issues Also Heads Up The Lip Inside Of The Window Make Sure It Is Bent Outward Away From Glass After I Installed The Seals And Rolled Up The Glass The Glass Retaining Channel For The Glass Was Catching On The Bootom Of The Seal And Trying To Raise It Out My Fault I Didnt Realize That They Had Been Bent Inward Toward Glass And Causing An Issue And Removing An Allready Installed Window Seal Without Destruction Not Easy Also Dont Try To "spread" Or Open The Retaining Clips On The Back Of These Seals "snap" Right Off Other Than That They Were Great And Look Good |

Re: LMC recommendation?
I have never seen a product available from LMC that a Vendor here could not
get for me and CHEAPER. As for their quality, some stuff is the same from our Vendors here, and some stuff is very cheaply made overseas, just be careful.

Re: LMC recommendation?
Unless LMC is the only place that carries them stay away from LMC. If you have a problem you are on your own (except for this board of course) LMC has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with.

Re: LMC recommendation?
I just ordered the same parts (and some others pieces as well) and recieved only half my order. I phoned customer service and had the rest of my order shipped out no further cost to me. I live in Canada so I have to say I had no real issue. I checked other vendors but they weren't cheaper. I tried.
