Flipping the crossmember and raising trailing arms?
I ran across a build a month ago on the this board but I can't find it now. It was an orange supercharged truck that had a newer style bed on it. Anyway, he flipped his crossmember which raised the location that his trailing arms bolt to. Are there any advantages or disadvantages by doing this? It would seem that it would decrease the travel. Would it lower the truck in the rear by doing this? Just curious.
BTW...when using bags in the rear is there a better place to mount them so that you get more travel?
