Shocks For My Mis-matched Truck
So, although my truck is a '69, most of it is really from a '68. I need new front & rear shocks.
The parts guy was having a difficult time checking on both. The '69 stuff is in their books, and there books stop at '69. Anyone know if they are the same for both years? - THX

Re: Shocks For My Mis-matched Truck
the parts guy prolly doesnt know what he's doing... i had to order my RANCHO RS 5000's (theyR for a4" lift) from the local oriley's here in texas... it really shouldnt matter what year ur truck is, 67-72 they should work anyway...the shock mounts are all basically the same

Re: Shocks For My Mis-matched Truck
Although they should be the same between 68 and 69..what year is the frame? You can tell by the spring hangers, just look at yours and compare them to pics of them on here and see.You won't know the exact year unless you run the numbers but you can get an idea of the years by looking at the spring hangers
