Im far more used to offsets and imports...

Looking at these:

For my 1970 C10, which will have the ECE 2/4 premium drop kit on it.

Plans are to eventually go disc brakes, but right now its drums all around.

Thinking 15x7 up front and 15x8 in the rears...

Is the 4" backspacing enough?

That does explain it well, but what it doesnt answer that I still need to know... is 4" backspacing (aka 0 offset) enough for my 70 c10?

It's an individual decision.

Will 4"BS work? Yes. So will 3", 3.5", 4.5", 5" . . .... It depends on what you like & how low you get.

Give us a starting point of reference. Post a pic of what you have now & what your current BS is so we can figure from there.

No idea. I have yet to even remove a wheel from it!

Gotta start somewhere. 8" wheels w/4" BS work on these trucks. Since each suspension set-up (and truck) is slightly different, it's best to have a starting point (control) before making recommendations.

Means I need to buy a jack - old one didnt go high enough to reach the axle
