factory blue interior
Does anyone have a pic of the factory blue interior. I remember seeing one here a while back but I can't find it again.
I have a 67 fleetside that is ivory with the blue interior. Also, is there a code for the paint? I have some leftover metal I cut fromt he floor to help match it up but thats it. Thanks!! Mike

Re: factory blue interior
My '68 is factory blue, I do not know what the interior color code is. I have asked here before but never had got a reply. The steel door panels are a little darker than the dash. The accessory sticker indicates 4614J8 "Blue Vinyl Trim" Have some pics, I think I posted here once, Not any real good ones of the interior. Be happy to take some more if it would help, my interior is bone stock original from the factory.

Re: factory blue interior
68 C-20....I have the same trim..it is blue vinyl.
More pics would be great if you don't mind. If they are too large, I can send you my email addy too. Thank you again! Longhorn Man, More pics would be great too!! I am going to try and match up the seat as close as possible with a local upholstry guy. Also going to buy a new dash, carpet, etc. I have a set of old factory visors already that all they need are a cleaning. Mike

Re: factory blue interior
Sure,
I'll take some more, no problem, but it is overcast and rainy here today (and getting dark), will try tomorrow. It would be cool if someone knows the actual color code of the interiror. Longhorn, your doors look to be the same color as the metal panel on my doors. They are a little darker than the dash and use a metalic paint.

Re: factory blue interior
68 C-20, sounds great! take your time.
hotrod 80 mine was a base model as well. Originally a 6cyl/3 spd also. Looks like yours is a 3 on the tree. very cool. Do you have any armrests or are they just removed? Also, is that the original seat cover? The shade of blue on these looks very close to what I have. Keep them coming. Thank you all! Mike

Re: factory blue interior
My door panels are not even drilled for arm rest . I don't know if the seat is the original or not , but it kinda fits with the base model look. My truck also only has a driverside sun visor and is not even drilled/cut for a passengerside . I also would like to know the color code / color name , as this is my next step .

Re: factory blue interior
NO problem Longhorn Man...thanks anyway.
Very interesting fact about the armrest and even more interesting about just the one side having a visor! I would like to find a detailed brochure about these trucks. I know at the monthly swap, there are vendors with all kinds of manuals and books. I need to go next month and investigate. I plan on keeping this thread going so we can get the riddle solved Batman..lol

My interior *was* blue, and I *think* I have the color codes (not entirely sure what to look for, other than the codes on the inside of the glove compartment). I could look and try to let you know...?

Re: factory blue interior
Thanks for the thread , but that blue is to blue this seams to have more gray in it . It is close to Fathom blue exterior color , but less metalic . It is also different from the dash color of my 1968 Camaro dash .

Re: factory blue interior
I wish I could help you with the color code, but I haven't found that out myself. I do have a pic of the base vinyl seat, and a collection of other blue interiors I've found on the forum.
Here's mine.

Here's my collection. Thanks to the guys who unknowingly lent their pics.
The second pic is a 67 that sold a couple years ago with only a few hundred miles on it.

Re: factory blue interior
Thank you everyone for the great pics.
Justin, That is the third base model 67 I have seen without the armrests installed. Very interesting facts. Also, thanks for the clsoeup of the seats. That also helps me out. Thank you again! Mike

Re: factory blue interior
Kinda lost track of this post, and i've been traveling as of late. I'll try to get those pics for you. Note that I don't have any armrest or holes either. Mine looks like Boundstaffpress' 67, 'cept my door panels are a darker blue. Anyone ever figure out a paint code for that interior blue?
