Re: I want to see your rear-end
For me, this decision hinges upon 2 factors
1) Who do I want to hear it? 2) Will it jive with the general theme of the vehicle? If I want my truck to appear stock, for originality's sake I'd dump at the factory's intended location behind the rear tires where I would still hear a fair amount of rumble from the driver's seat. If I'm going for a less-refined hotrod look and want to feel the thunder... yeah, let's dump it in front of the rear wheels and make some NOISE! If you want the guy you just left behind at the light to feel the thunder, nothing compares to a rear-exit system. I'm cool with any three of these options, but I would avoid a "before-the-wheel" exit on a daily driver if you want to hear the radio or hold a conversation with your passenger. |

Re: I want to see your rear-end
I dont have any experiance with this but I hear that if you tow a lot of trailers its bad to run em strait out the back because the sound echos off the trailers and sounds like $H!7. Once again I might be wrong but it makes sence.

Re: I want to see your rear-end
Thing i will do with my truck, it as a 3/5 drop, will be towing stock car , so i don't have much space to pass the tails.over the rear-end......

Mine were slightly angled downward and tucked back in case I ever put a sport bumper on.
