Question 55 turn signals?

did 55 second series trucks come from the factory w/ turn signals? i would think so but i dont remember my orig. steering coloum having any thing sticking out of it .

The master parts catalog shows a separate mast jacket hub for turn signals on the 2nd series pickup.

So the factory option did have the turn signal built into the column. Finding could be a problem. My friend used a column from a 58 with signals. The wheel sits about an inch higher.
