gear ratio ?

i have a 87 lwb with a 350 and 350 trans,any guess as to what the rear gear would be with out pulling the diff cover ? the numbers stamped into the axle tube is BR3 G175

The gear ratio for my 1986 is right on the sticker with the options in the glove box.

I have almost answered this twice...
It's very hard to say...3.08
It could be as high as 2.73 or as low as 3.54 or 3.73
But you are talking about a 21 year old truck, could be anything.

most all 3 speeds during these years came with came with a 273 ratio unless it had a h d pkg. (7 leafs in rear & a 1 1/4 in rotor ) -3/4 or 1 ton .
Iwas told my 84 had a 2.56 ratio even . when the trans man had it out & counted the teeth . It is a swb & came stock with a 305 / 350 trans. Hope this helps

pulled the cover today...its a 2.73....the cab is trashed .so i had no info on anything for the truck ...thanks guys...
