Hello all From Vancouver Washington
Well thought I would first stop off to introduce myself, my name is James and you can tell where i am from and live from my title.
A little about my projects I have a 1960 Chevy 1/2 LWB that I bought from the original owner it has a 235, 3 on the tree w/ overdrive and I have a 1960 1/2 SWB that I also got from the original owner it was a 6 cylinder auto truck the LWB I have had since late August and was wrecked recently in a hit and run insurance company totaled it, but i bought it back the SWB I bought last Wednesdayand will be the one that I am going to put together. I have several parts that I will be selling if anyone needs anything doors, fenders, hoods, grills, cabs I do have a question on bagging my SWB I have done some reading on the fourms and see that most people ditch the torsion bar setup, but I am wondering if any have done it with them I am planning on trying tht route myself by removing the torsion bars from the lower a-arms. I want to be able to lay the body on the ground I have seen wondering if any one has done this with out Z-ing the frame. Any pics and ideas would be great Let me know if you are in the market for any parts like i said I have lots almost enough for 4 trucks and lots of extra for example I have 17 60-63 doors, just to give you an idea |
