Suspension Questions
Heres a question for you guys, i have the x member the rear trailing arms bolt to out right now for exhaust mods. I have been thinking and when i lower the rear 5 inches it will bring the axle forward some. wondering if i can or if anyone else has spaced the brackets the trailing arms bolt/pivot on out and bolted them back on to correct the positioning of the rear axle in the wheel well. Was thinking id grind the rivets off and use 1/4 inch aluminum plates to shim the brackets toward the rear. what do you think???

Re: Suspension Questions
Maybe someone with more experience can chime in on this, but I don't think the axle will move enough w/a 5 in. drop to worry about moving it back. Only trucks with extreme drops (air suspension) seem to get noticeable movement of the axle. Just my .02

Re: Suspension Questions
it won't be off that bad, and a 1/4 inch isn't worth the trouble anyways.
