Re: Can it Be?

BB73 is pretty much the encyclopedia of all that is 73-87...might want to take his word for the SWB meaning.

Why dont you just give them a call...disguise your voice or do something off the wall like talk like a pirate.

I agree! SNB and LNB are acronyms that were madeup. That's my opinion anyhow.

Re: Can it Be?

The only two acronyms I am aware of that most people use are swb (short wheel base) and lwb (long wheel base)....with the terminology fleetside or stepside following. I have NEVER seen or heard of snb, lwb, or lnb. If you look in most any parts catalog you will see the term swb or lwb...I can almost guarantee you will not see the acronyms you listed.

Not trying to be harsh, just trying to explain.

I am betting that is your truck. Your VIN indicates that the title was last updated Oct 07 in shawnee, which it where this vehicle is listed for sale. I realize Shawnee has more than 1 73-87 but... are you wanting to buy it back?

Lwb = Long Wheel Base As Found On Long Bed (8') Trucks With Fleet Side. To My Knowledge Gm Never Offered A Factory Stepside Long Bed From '73-'87

sweet, it's out of my name( i was at the track with my buddy's lightning when the deal went threw, that's back when the lightning was running 10's, it's new setup should run 7's, back to the truck, yeah i figured it was, just cause some of the sanding he did to it, and a few key features, he bought it from me for $550 if i remember correctly, no i'm not wanting to buy it back, just thought it was funny, i lost over $2,000 dollars on that truck, it was time to move on, i can never own the same vehicle twice-atleast that's what i stick to as of now, i have the 03 Crown vic for sale right now, and when i sell that i'm gonna get an 88-98 chevy or 92-03 ford truck, i go to Noble to the track quite often, and need something with cruise control-(personal preference), i won't tell you which i'm gonna get until i sale the CVPI, but if it's gone by this weekend, you'll see next week

Re: Can it Be?

Didn't make too many LWB stepsides, but Los-lowrider's got a pretty nice bagged one over in Germany.

Sorry, don't mean to beat a dead horse. My intent is to draw attention to dude's awesome long step.

Yeah, but SWB/SNB & LWB/LNB makes it easier to identify since it identifies the bed & wheelbase with only 3 letters. Maybe it's an OKIE thing but that's how I learned.

Yeah I always wondered why everyone says 6 foot bed for short beds. It's really more like ~6.5 feet as stated before.

Re: Can it Be?

I guess I was listing a bit to one side but now stand corrected.
Me before = \ And now after = l
I would love to see some pics of those long bed step sides. Just the thought of it is strange to me. As for the short bed length, I erred on the side of caution as I couldn't remember the exact length.

on the other hand if you look in the oklahoma city-craigslist for an 84 gmc, my grandparent's neighbors son owned it, and sold it a year or two ago
