Pics, because I have nothing better to do
Oh man, I'm trying to fall asleep but can't. Been going over old threads I remember and looking for new things people are trying. Doing alot of reading. Along the way, I remembered a few pics I forgot to post up and just thought I would share.

Re: Pics, because I have nothing better to do
Yeah that was back when you could mark just about any combo of options on the sheet and they would build it no questions asked. Now you are limited to a few set packages.

Re: Pics, because I have nothing better to do
What wheels are those? I like them a ton better than the wagon spokes on my shorty. Size/offset? They might even look good on my 88...

Re: Pics, because I have nothing better to do
Glad you guys like it. I'm about ready to burn the dam thing to the ground though. I've spent the last 2 days doing the front brakes, and just one side...
Threads have been stripped and the wrong sizes for parts have been given. The girl at the front counter at NAPA doesn't even bother to ask for ID when I show her the CC. Been a long two days... The sub box is about 5" at the bottom and 3" at the top. Probably 60" wide. The old box had two Pioneer 10" subs which are now in my dad's '06 GMC. It sat perfectly atop the "shelf" in the back of the cab. I actually still have it sitting in my garage... Truck has power locks that were added when I put int he security system. I added the switches when I redid the interior earlier this year. Wheels are 15x10 all the way around. Closest set you can get to them is the American Racing Ansen Sprint wheels. My tires are 255/60/15 up front and 275/60/15 out back. Suspension has a 2/4 drop. Truck has just over 76k on the odometer and is my daily driver.

Re: Pics, because I have nothing better to do
New subs are not shallow mounts. Just regular subs. Quality is much better than the shallow mounts.
EDIT: Next step is to get all the little things done. Gotta repaint/powdercoat some brackets, re-loom a few sets of wires, and just generally small touch up bits. The next major step for the truck will be the engine bay which will not be done for some time. Just not enough money available for what I want to do right now...

Re: Pics, because I have nothing better to do
Not to threadjack AceX, but an alternative to the Ansen Spirits is the SLT MuscleMags from Wheel Tech Intl. You can get them in 15x10, where the Ansens max out at 15x8. Here's a link:
http://www.wheeltechintl.com/sltspecs.php After seeing how they looked on your truck, I looked into these wheels a lot and that's what I came up with.

Re: Pics, because I have nothing better to do
That's awesome! I never even knew about those.
I was supposed to run to the shop today and get some numbers on the system but they were too busy. Another time perhaps...
