tank switcher valve question.
on an '85 when swapping in a late model efi engine with the 55psi plus fuel system what switching valve would you use if keeping factory duel tanks . any help would be greatly appreciated.

i would think that the stock valve would work. are you going to put in-tank fuel pumps in?? or are you going to use a external pump??

i will be using the '87 sending unit with the later intank fuel pump , i just wasn't sure if the valve for the '87 tpi efi would hold the pressure of the later model efi.

you could call a parts house and see if the part number for the valves is the same for a 85 & 87. make sure what ever valve you use is the 6 port one.
