Re: Is there a repair panel for this?
The following companies sell this panel:
www.lmctruck.com www.classicparts.com www.oldchevytrucks.com and many others. It is a called a kick panel and they are all pretty much the same, no matter what company you buy them from. I have replaced them a number of times. |

Re: Is there a repair panel for this?
I was looking at oldchevytrucks and I see inner cowl kick panels. Same thing? They have a pair of plastic ones that bolt in. Is that right? I didn't see any metals there.

Re: Is there a repair panel for this?
to anyone that has replaced the kick panels, was the removal of any other panels required before replacing them? Any part of the floor or the rockers? I also need to replace mine and I am not sure if it is something I can tackle myself. If anyone has pictures of the process or knows where to lead me to some it would help me out, thanks.

Re: Is there a repair panel for this?
You are in luck pips, I have been working on mine all day. I will take some pics in the morning for you. I have the whole floor cut out doing rockers, doorposts, kick panels, outer floor and inner floor. you are going to have to seperate the floor and rocker to do them. A spot weld cutter and a prybar makes short work of that. I cut out the rust and clamped it in place. I will post pics for you
