2 link or 4 link inside of frame rails

Hey guys and gals. I was wondering if anyone in the seeten world has a few pics of a 4 or 2 link setup inside the frame. the reason i am asking is that i want narrow my axle and run a wide wheel with a lot of offset giving the wheel a big outter lip. there is no room for the wheels i wanna use if i go outside the rails. i do not want to use the factory trailin arms for handling reasons.

That is actually a buddy of mine named mike a.k.a smiley here in houston or should i say spring tx. That truck has a bit of money in it. The only problem with it is the bags are outside the rails on it.

I thought that was Smiley's truck. The gray frame rails looked familiar.

Re: 2 link or 4 link inside of frame rails

you might want to look into a explorer rear since the are just right to run the least backspacing on most wheels. Might save you some money in the long run since they come with 3:55, 3:73, and 4:11's with a locker. I picked one up with 3:73's and a locker for $50 to go in my blazer. Just trying to help out.

So what are the pro's and con's of mounting the bars on the inside of the frame vs. the outside??

I really want to know, how is the handling with the bars inside the frame?

Re: 2 link or 4 link inside of frame rails

wheel width and depth of offset is why i am doing it. mounting bags on the factory trailing arms makes the handling suck. the mounting location of the bag to the hinge point gives it to much of a mechanical advantage. aka makes the truck handle loosely in the cornering.

I am no expert by any means but I read this from BIOMAX a little while ago. The closer the links get the more it compounds the otherwise minimal roll-steer generated by every link system. So basically what he is saying is the closer the links are towards the center the higher possibilities of have some roll-steer issues like oversteer. Good luck
