Tubular vs Stock Arms

I'm debating buying a set of tubular control arms from CPP (no drop), to replace my stock arms, but cannot justify forking out $1400 (Cdn) just for a nice looking set of A arms.

What are the benefits of the Tubular over stock?
Will the tubular work with my 3" Drop Spindles(DJM)?
Will the tubular work with a sway bar?

And any opinions and personal feedback are much appreciated.

Thanks

I upgraded to stock '73+ arms on my blazer. I replaced all of the bushings and ball joints. If I had to do it again, I would buy some new tubular arms instead.

Tubular arms for our trucks are one of those "luxury" upgrades IMO. In other words, you don't need them. Only time I would really consider them is if your bagging, the open plate designed on the lower arms is nice to have with a bag. Also, the upper has a couple degrees of corrected camber in them. To answer your other questions, most of them do have a mount for a sway bar and yes, they will work with your drop spindle.
