My "New" Cab!
I won this on eBay a while ago for the opening bid of $200! It's a 2wd cab, but I can make it into a 4x4 cab as soon as I find the center floor section that I need out of a 4-speed 4x4 cab! I don't think I could repair my cab any cheaper than buying this one! Next on my agenda is getting this cab prepped for my chassis! It will be a lot of work, but I think this will be the best way for me to go. The brown stuff on the floor is the insulation that was under the carpet, not rust. ...Joe

Re: My "New" Cab!
the rear window alone is 100 bucks usually...
and that sticker in teh window shows that it was recently mounted also.. it's the texas vehicle inspection sticker the 10 08 on it shows when it expires.. so it hasnt been off too long

Re: My "New" Cab!
awsome find.... looks to be in excellent shape. Cabs are tough to find in Canada, that aren't rotten. Southern ones sell for $1000 without doors up here.

Re: My "New" Cab!
I think I kind of lucked out on this one all right. They are getting harder to find like this all the time. Should make a nice one for my truck. Going to gut it the rest of the way out when it gets here, see what I got and go from there. I don't think that $200 was a bad price to pay for it at all. The shipping was more than what I paid for it! The guy that will be delivering it called a while ago and said that he will drop it off on Monday. ...Joe

Re: My "New" Cab!
Clean Texas cab indeed. Check Colorado in the future. They use sand on the roads rather than salt, and have less humidity than Texas.
