Black grill on 72
What's everyone think, spent some time working on the grill a few weeks ago.
I'm on the fence on what I like better, factor or painted.

Re: Black grill on 72
I like it. Did the same to mine. It makes the front stand out. A look I prefer if the truck isnt completely stock.
I vote leave it black. |

Re: Black grill on 72
I prefer them factory or another color but when they are black they lose the contrast and become plain looking

I think the gunmetal (dark gray) looks best.

Re: Black grill on 72
With the grille painted a dark color, whether black, gunmetal grey or ??, painting around the headlight doors makes the headlights "float". The bowtie is also "floating" as you look at the composite view. I think there is a fine line between what is "just enough" and "a little too much" or "not quite enough" contrast.....with the dark color contrasting with the brightness of the grille surround, headllight doors and bumper. It's a matter of personal taste with its owner being the final judge.
The various views are all nice, with each owner making changes to suit his/her own taste. Nice.
