Parts # for Seals - Rockwell T221
Inland Truck Parts, 316-945-0255 in Wichita, Kansas can still get some parts for the Rockwell T221 transfer case that was used into 1969.
I spoke with Gil and he said he found a complete rebuild kit but it was high dollar - included bearings, gaskets and seals. He also can get just the seals but he was not able to locate just a gasket kit. There are three large yoke seals that he can get at $16.81 a piece, Federal-Mogul part number 482164N and two shifter seals at $4.20 each, Federal-Mogul part number 470954 and also states 0.750 x 1.250 x 0.250 on the box below the part number. He said he could get some different yoke seals that were just $2.00 each but he said they looked like a $2 part. If schedules work out a friend and I might do my transmission swap in two weeks! Can't wait to get that three speed out. ------------------ 1969 C20 4x4 with roughly 6" lift and 35's residing near Rose Hill, Kansas Yukon Jack's Web Pages

The three seals at $16 each is a bit expensive. The seals for the SM465 were in the neighbor hood of $6-8 each. The kit was above $90. I don't think I need bearings and I can make my own gaskets. Way I look at it, now's a great time to cut down on some leaks and it is a bit leaky.
