It's not a 67-72 but could someone help me onut with this one

model # 1315
serial # 5131514716
engine #c46038

It's a chevy panel truck. Any help is much appreciated.

Hey man, that thing would be sweet, can't help you with the decoding yet, i'll take a look through some books for it. How much do they want for it? or is it yours already?

No it's not mine yet. The wife absolutely forbids me to buy something that needs that much work. It would be a sweet project though. I am sure it will sell for less than $300

Hi Dubie, you are looking at either a 1954 or 1955 1st Series Advance Design judging by the grill. 1955 was when they switched over from the Advance Design series to the square-fronted Task Force series. But both styles were manufactured in 1955. Pre-54 trucks have a more elaborate grill. Lots of pics on this website:

Can't help you with the numbers but I found something interesting. Its hard to see exactly how long the truck is from your pictures but if its a longbed you better hang onto your butt and get that chequebook out. Have a looksee here.

Southpa nailed it with a 1954 or 1955 1st Series.
I cant help you with the numbers either,
But heres a long shot. The 54s generally had 16" wheels and the 55 1st series mostly changed to 15" wheels on the 1/2 tons.
The odds of these wheels are stock may be a stretch but if there 16s it would tend to favor a 55 first series.
A lot of tlc is needed for that panel.
