Oh yeah I see it. That's a hood for a 81-87 not 73-80. Well that number is 38-9536-T if you want it.

Re: cowl hood

If that is a UP22 hood and you plan to get it, you better LOVE your bodyman, cause he will hate you.

Re: cowl hood

i bought a 6 inch cowl hood from up22 for a 78 nova and it was a very nice hood, very straight and looked good painted the only prob i had with up22 was they told me 6-8 weeks for delivery and didn't get the hood for 14 weeks.

Re: cowl hood

Historically their hoods for trucks have more waves than the superbowl. Maybe they have changed them buy I won't ever get another one.

From a bodymans perspective, not so much. That hood is going to have a lot of flat area that needs to be flat/straight.

Re: cowl hood

The hood that is in the picture looks like a Harwood fiberglass hood and not one of the later metal ones that is on the market. It is kind of like the hoodon my 84 GMC. Mine is a Harwood that has been on my truck since 1996 and it connects to the hinges and uses a prop rod for support. It weighs about 35 lbs and fits real well.
